With a global footprint that spans every continent, the opportunities at Canisius to develop an understanding of what it means to be a global citizen are diverse. From course-related travel, to international service immersion, to a study abroad program that offers experiences in 14 countries, we are committed to providing students with an array of options to inspire their worldview. And as a home to students from over 30 countries throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and South America, Canisius offers a campus culture that is uniquely international.
The Study Abroad Office provides opportunities for students to participate in international learning experiences through 22 locations in 14 countries. Study for a full semester or take advantage of short-term opportunities.
Campus Ministry offers an array of service-immersion experiences in marginalized communities across the world. Each of the trips incorporates both service - meaning direct, hands-on work with people in need, and immersion - meaning learning opportunities that help us grasp the social, economic, political, religious and cultural contexts within the countries we visit.
Canisius welcomes international students from more than 30 foreign countries throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and South America. Learn more about International Student admissions.
