Dr. Timothy Wadkins, Director
Dr. Timothy Wadkins is a professor of Christian History and Theology and a specialist in modern Christianity in the southern Hemisphere. Alongside his many publications he has recently published Pentecostalism in Modern El Salvador: From the Blood of the Martyrs to the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Baylor University Press, 2017). In addition to his academic work, Dr. Wadkins brings to this position a wealth of International experience and expertise. In his capacity as director of the Institute for the Global study of Religion (IGSOR), which he founded in 2001, Dr. Wadkins developed student and alumni programs throughout the world including India, the Philippines, El Salvador, Tanzania, and Mexico, all of which continue to flourish.
