Meet the Lead Team

Joshua Coleman '10

Joshua works as a Vice President within Credit and Restructuring for Citi’s Investment Bank.  Joshua's responsibilities include working with companies in circumstances of moderate to severe stress.  He has significant experience in leveraged credit and restructuring transactions and offers strategic analysis, financial modeling, forecasting and valuation expertise. 

Joshua has been active in Canisius' NYC Alumni Chapter since he moved to Manhattan in 2010 and has served as Chair since 2015.  In his spare time, Joshua enjoys running, playing softball, and participating in fantasy sports.

Joshua graduated summa cum laude from Canisius and earned Bachelor's Degrees in both Mathematics and Economics with concentrations in Statistics and Finance. At Canisius, Joshua was an active member of the Canisius Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO) and the Can Do Society.

James Murray '03

James is currently a partner at ExSight Ventures, LLC, a healthcare focused venture capital firm specializing in early-stage investments in innovative ophthalmic diagnostic and treatment solutions.

James leads the day to day activities and operations of ExSight including sourcing and evaluating early-stage companies, assisting current and prospective portfolio companies with development, and is responsible for the firm’s financial, fundraising, investor relations and administrative functions. Before co-founding ExSight James held various positions at Vision Capital Advisors, eventually serving as General Counsel and Head of Strategic Initiatives where he spearheaded the firm’s assessment of new investment strategies ultimately leading to the founding of ExSight. James serves on the board of directors of Nectar Services Corp.

James is admitted to practice in the State of New York. He is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York where he serves as the Events Chair of the Emerging Companies Committee. He is a founding board member of the 4th and Forever Foundation, which is dedicated to assisting those living with and affected by mental health conditions. James received his B.A., cum laude, in 2003 from Canisius University and his J.D. in 2007 from Brooklyn Law School.

Chris Zarra '91

From 1997 to present, Chris is a Private Wealth Advisor at Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., in Rockville Centre, NY.

As an Ameriprise Private Wealth Advisor, Chris has extensive experience helping affluent clients with their goals to preserve and grow their assets. He’s among the most qualified and credentialed advisors in the firm, and works with an established network of expert resources to help bring dreams and goals more within reach.

Chris has worked with the Pre-Retiree community for 23 years to help with his clients’ unique financial situation. He also works closely with: Retirees, Business owners and Executive women.

He enjoys spending time with family, golfing, biking, reading, traveling, racquetball, furniture design and wine tasting

Neil Foley '12

Neil Foley is a Vice President within Global Client Management at BNY Mellon. Neil’s responsibilities include working with BNY Mellon’s Investment Services and Investment Management businesses in establishing Insurance Segment specific priorities and strategies to create long term client value.

Prior to working in Global Client Management, Neil served as a Senior Associate for the Corporate Treasury department aligned within Asset Liability Management at BNY Mellon. Here, his primary job functions were associated with BNY Mellon’s Recovery and Resolution Plan submission, focusing on balance sheet forecasting for all material legal entities under a severely adverse stress scenario for the Federal Reserve 165(d) Living Wills mandate. Neil also co-managed the monthly Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) Package and the bi-weekly Fixed Income Portfolio Committee (FIPC) Presentations for Corporate Treasury Senior Management.

Neil is co-chair of “Building Global Bridges”, an initiative that aims to educate employees on how their role fits into the Investment Lifecycle by providing an opportunity to connect the dots between business lines through promoting product awareness, education, networking and cross-training.

Neil is also a member of IMPACT, a program that supports the company's commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. IMPACT focuses on the recruitment, retention, professional development and advancement of multicultural employees at BNY Mellon. Through IMPACT, Neil was a participant in the 2016 IMPACT Case Study Competition as well as a current participant in the 2017 IMPACT Mentoring Program.

After graduating from Canisius University in 2012 with a Bachelors degree in Finance and Economics, Neil began his career at Citigroup working in the Financial Institution Risk Management department for three years as a Credit Analyst, Assistant Vice President and Credit Officer.

In his spare time, Neil enjoys the beaches and golf courses that the tri-state area have to offer and also sits on the Canisius University NYC Alumni Chapter Board.

Lindsay Slagle '08

Lindsay is a Vice President at Citi Private Bank as a Banking Product Sales Associate at Citi Private Bank in the Banking & Cash Management group. In her capacity, she supports Ultra High Net Worth, High Net Worth as well as Law Firm group clients with cash management solutions to help streamline their banking & treasury operations. Lindsay oversees sales, account management and implementation of cash management products and services.

Lindsay holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business and French from Canisius University in Buffalo, NY and is a CTP (Certified Treasury Professional). She volunteer as a mentor with Streetwise Partners, a non-profit organization that offers mentor resources to provide mentees with the skills, resources and access to professional business networks they need to secure and maintain employment.

She participated in Canisius University’s Atlantis Scholar Double Degree Program in Strasbourg, France and is fluent in French. Lindsay enjoys traveling and maintaining global friendships.

Her personal and professional development goal: always stay challenged and never too comfortable.

Paul Klopfer '13

Paul Klopfer is a sales leader in NYC. He specializes in running high performing sales teams across a wide variety of industries. He has worked at Main Street Hub for the past 4 years perfecting his craft for locally owned businesses on the main street of your town.

Prior to Main Street Hub, he ran his own company Challengage. Challengage helped college students get recognized for their true potential at collaborative recruitment events in Buffalo, Binghamton and New York City.

At Canisius, he played soccer for four years, was part of the can-do society and graduated cum laude.
