Housed in the School of Education and Human Services, the online master’s program offers a flexible, hands-on curriculum that emphasizes emerging sports industry trends, contemporary communications skills and cutting-edge technologies used in sport administration. OnlineMastersDegrees.org researched and analyzed more than 7,700 accredited schools using data from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) and from the schools themselves. Canisius’ recognition comes at a time when enrollment in master’s degree programs is on the rise. The Council of Graduate Schools (CGS) reported a 7.3 percent increase in first-time graduate student enrollment. The CGS report cites the growth of online and hybrid options as the primary driver of these trends.
