Financial Aid

At Canisius, 98% of students receive some type of financial assistance. And we’re not talking about a few extra dollars; the average award comes in at approximately $30,200. So before you make a final college decision, ask for guidance.

Our experts love answering questions. They’ll help you navigate federal and state aid, financing plans, scholarships, grants, and need-based institutional awards. In the true Canisius spirit, they’ll help you explore solutions and find the tools to realize your dreams.

At Canisius, we participate in federal and state aid programs. We offer need-based scholarships and merit-based scholarships based on student academic records. Students who qualify may receive both a TAP and a Pell Grant award, in addition to other types of aid.
