Environmental Science Internships
All Environmental Science majors must complete
two internships. Recent interns have worked at the Buffalo
museum of Science, Ecology and Environment, Iroquois National
Wildlife Refuge, Fish and Wildlife Service, Penn Dixie
Paleontological and Outdoor Education Center, Tifft Nature Preserve,
and Waste Stream Technologies. Because each student has
different interests, we encourage students to choose internships
that align with their career goals.
To register for an internship, the internship
must have been approved by the Environmental Science Committee.
Students should see Dr. Morris for an
internship package (all the documents for the internship including a
checklist of what needs to be done before, during, and after the
internship to receive credit).
Students should work with a internship sponsor
on campus to complete and submit the internship application.
