Following are services offered by the Office of Sponsored Programs
- Funding Searches
- Faculty who are interested in obtaining funds for research or teaching activities can learn about potential sponsors by accessing a variety of private and government funding sources on-line through our Funding Sources page.
Our staff helps you:
- Obtain all application forms and guidelines.
- Interpret sponsor guidelines and seek clarification as necessary.
- Prepare proposal budgets.
- Secure all institutional signatures.
- Complete and mail your proposal in a timely fashion.
Once you have received funding, we:
Authorize the Controller's Office to create an account and administer the funds.
Contact the sponsor as required for any post-award changes, questions or requests.
Ensure that all reports are submitted in a timely fashion.

The GrantSelect Database is an extensive online grants database that contains more than 10,000 funding opportunities provided by more than 4,000 sponsoring organizations.
GrantsNet - Funding opportunities in undergraduate science education for university and college faculty, and undergraduate students.
Grantsmanship Center - Lists daily announcements of grants from the Federal Register and Commerce Business Daily as well as sections on arts foundations, community foundations, corporate foundations, and donors, associations of grant makers, international foundations, private grant makers, and charities that make grants.
Progressive Foundation Database - Includes information on hundreds of progressive foundations, including their addresses, phone numbers, program officers, giving priorities, average grant size, and deadlines. Registration required.
American Council of Learned Societies - Online scholarly resources.
The Federal Register - Published daily by the Government Printing Office (GPO), the Federal Register contains federal agency regulations, proposed rules and notices, and Executive orders, proclamations and other Presidential documents.
GRANTS.GOV - The Federal government's single source for information on Federal grant opportunities.
