Griff Center for Student Success
The Griff Center provides comprehensive programs, services, and resources to support student academic and career success. We facilitate the programs that launch your career at Canisius, and offer personalized academic, accessibility, and career support to assist you in achieving your personal and professional goals.
Student Health Center
The Student Health Center is committed to improving the health of those we serve by offering quality health services that are individualized, targeted, easy to access, and delivered in a caring, welcoming and respectful manner.
Our Title IX Coordinator and reporting process falls under the Higher Education Act which protects members of the community from discrimination on the basis of sex. Confidential reporting is available as well as other campus resources
ALANA Student Center (ASC)
The ALANA Student Center provides African American, Latino/a American, Asian American and Native American (ALANA) students with services to help them succeed at Canisius and after they graduate. We strive to foster respect, for cultural differences and inclusivity.
The Counseling Center is committed to developing the personal and academic potential of Canisius University Students by providing comprehensive counseling services and outreach education to support the emotional and mental health of our students.
The Department of Public Safety protects and serves the Canisius University community by keeping the environment free from the threat of physical harm, property damage and disruptive activity.

Information Technology Services (ITS) provides Canisius University with the core technology resources and support services for teaching, learning, and research.
Canisius University Writing Center
The Canisius University Writing Center is a resource for anyone to bring their writing and receive one-on-one peer tutoring. The writing center is staffed with trained Canisius students that are willing to help with any stage of the writing process. Examples of common writing center appointments include: Understanding an assignment, developing a thesis, brainstorming ideas, outlining, assisting with proofreading, analyzing evidence for an argument, working on long projects. Appointments are 30 minutes long and can be made online.
