All graduating students (undergraduate and master's) will receive information in their myCanisius graduation portal. Your portal will provide information on how to check out for graduation, as well as indicate whether or not you will be attending your graduation ceremony and the number of tickets* you are requesting.
The number of tickets given per graduate will be determined at a later date. Graduates will also have the opportunity to request additional tickets at checkout. However, additional tickets are not guaranteed.
The graduating student must appear in person at the Student Records and Financial Services Center (located on the 3rd Floor of Science Hall) to pick up Commencement tickets. Tickets cannot be sent via mail, and there will be no replacements for tickets that are lost or forgotten.
*Please note: All guests require an entry ticket.
Commencement Ceremonies
The Commencement Exercises will be held on campus in the Koessler Athletic Center on Saturday, May 16, 2026. The undergraduate and graduate commencement ceremonies are combined school. During the ceremony, the recognition of the honorary degree recipients, ROTC recognition, commencement student speaker address, student degrees conferred and graduates will receive their diplomas.
