Parent and Family Orientation

Welcome to Summer at Canisius University!

We’re excited to invite you to our Parent and Family Orientation, a dedicated program designed to support the families of new first-year and transfer students as they begin their Canisius journey.

This two-day orientation takes place in July and runs concurrently—but separately—from the student orientation, allowing parents, guardians, and family supporters to explore the university, engage with campus resources, and better understand the Canisius experience.

Orientation Sessions:

• Session 1 – Tuesday, July 15 & Wednesday, July 16 - Session Registration Full

• Session 2 – Friday, July 18 & Saturday, July 19

• Session 3 – Tuesday, July 22 & Wednesday, July 23

• Session 4 – Friday, July 25 & Saturday, July 26

When your student registers for their two-day orientation, they will also register up to two family members—included in the orientation fee. Additional guests may be accommodated as space allows for an additional fee.
