  • Michelle DelPrince ’15, Math Ed, is serving with AmeriCorps Builds Lives through Education (ABLE), in Buffalo, NY. 
  • John Fischer ’15, MAT, is a graduate student in the Ph.D. program in Mathematics at the University of Cincinnati.
  • Emma Holbrook ’15, MAT, is an Actuarial Analyst at Merchants Insurance Group in Buffalo and a candidate for the Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) designation.  Emma has passed two actuarial exams.
  • Kevin Howard ’15, MAT + PHY, is a graduate student in the Ph.D. program in Physics at the University of Notre Dame, with the intent of focusing on experimental nuclear physics.

  • Katelin Rubach ’15, Math Ed, is studying for her Advanced Special Education Certificate at Canisius. She is teaching at the Monarch Little Learners Academy. 
  • Kaitlin Yaeger ’15, MAT + SPA, recently earned a master’s degree in Secondary Math Education from Wake Forest University.  She is currently a high school math teacher at The Clinton School in Manhattan.
  • Christopher Eppolito ’14, MAT + PHI, is a Ph.D. Candidate in Mathematics at SUNY Binghamton.
  • Mary (Floyd) Keller ’14, MAT, is a US Army Field Artillery Captain with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), stationed at Fort Campbell, KY.  Mary is currently deployed to Iraq.

  • Brittany Zaccaria ’14, MAT, is currently working as a Credit Analyst M&T Bank, after completing the bank’s credit analyst training program.
  • Corey Callaghan ’13, ENV + MAT, is a graduate student in Environmental Sciences at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. 
  • Tyler Molina ’13, MAT + ECO, MBA ’16, is currently working as a Systems Support Specialist at Lawley Insurance, helping to manage the database systems and applications used by the organization.

  • Jonathan Moreland ’13, MAT, is an IT/Programmer at LSM Business Products in Puyallup, Washington. 
  • Patrick O’Loughlin ’13, MAT + ECO, is a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army, serving in the infantry branch at Ft. Bennington, GA. 
  • Kaitlynn (Smith) Meidenbauer ’13, Math Ed, is teaching special education at Lakeside Elementary in Coppell, TX. 
  • Sarah Urban ’13, MAT + ECO, is a Credit and Portfolio Risk Analyst at Citi in Buffalo. 
  • Hannah Ball ’12, MAT + COM, is a Ph. D. Candidate in Communication Studies at West Virginia University. She has an M.A. in Communication Theory and Research from WVU. 
  • Samantha Bobbe ’12, PSY with a minor in mathematics, served for 27 months in the Peace Corps in Ghana as a mathematics and computer teacher. She is now the Project Manager at Cardiac Life Products in East Rochester and is planning to return to Canisius next fall in the College Student Personnel Administration program. 
  • Dina Gabrielli ’12, MAT, is an associate to a Wealth Advisor at Scotia McLeod in St. Catharine’s in Ontario. She is working towards her Canadian Securities license to be an Investment Representative. 
  • Danielle Mallare ’12, MAT + Math Ed, received an M.S. in Mathematics from the University of Buffalo. She is now a professor in the Department of Mathematics at Seattle Central College. 
  • Mark Pietrusik ’12, MAT, is a graduate student in the Professional Applied and Computational Mathematics program at Buffalo State College. 
  • Regina Pollack ’12, MAT, is a Financial Account Analyst in the Balance Sheet Substantiation Department at Citi Group. She expects to complete her M.B.A. at University of Buffalo in 2016. 
  • Mary Russell ’12, MAT, is a Research Associate in Radiology at the College of Medicine and a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at Ohio State University, where she received her Master's degree in mathematics. 
  • Jason Tata ’12, MAT with minors in Physics and Music, received an M.S. in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut. 
  • Samantha Youmans ’12, MAT with a minor in CSC, is a Corporate Banking Analyst at Citi in San Francisco. 
2008 - 2011
  • Richard Kennedy ’11, MAT + Math Ed, is a Student Life Specialist and Adjunct Professor of Mathematics at Canisius University. He has an M.S.Ed. degree in Differentiated Instruction and an M.S. degree in College Student Personnel Administration, both from Canisius University. 
  • Katelynn Kochalski ’11, MAT + ECO, is a Ph.D. Candidate in Mathematics at the University of Virginia. Katie recently received the Graduate Teaching Award there. 
  • Justin Meidenbauer ’11, Math Ed, is teaching Algebra II at Highland Park High School in Dallas, Texas (a top 100 school in U.S. based on SAT scores). Justin has an M.S.Ed. degree in Differentiated Instruction from Canisius. 
  • Sarah Mullin ’11, MAT + ENG, has an M.S. in Statistics from the Ohio State University, and is now working at Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation.  She is also an adjunct professor at New York University, teaching Advanced Test, Analysis, and Experimental Design. She plans to get a Ph.D. in Biostatistics. 
  • Michael Taber ’11, MAT + ECO, worked as an Economics Consultant at Bates-White in Washington DC until 2013. He is now a Ph.D. Candidate in physical therapy at The George Washington University. 
  • Matthew Butters ’10, MAT, worked as a Financial Analyst at Great West Life Insurance in Toronto for almost three years and is now at the Royal Bank of Canada. He has taken the first two actuarial exams. 
  • Elena Caffarelli ’10, MAT, is a Game Designer at High 5 Games. She has an M.S. degree in Mathematics from Rutgers University. 
  • Joshua Coleman ’10, MAT + ECO, is a Restructuring/Workout Associate in Financial Services at Citi in New York City. 
  • Alisa Officer ’10, MAT + Math Ed, has a M.S.Ed. in Differentiated Instruction from Canisius University and is a mathematics teacher at Buffalo Academy of Science Charter School. 
  • Jessica Reidy ’10, MAT, has an M.D. from the School of Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. 
  • Jessica Thrush ’10, MAT + Math Ed, has a M.S.Ed. in Differentiated Instruction from Canisius University and is a mathematics teacher at Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart. 
  • Kelly Buerster ’09, Math Ed, has a M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction in mathematics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is teaching special education in Denver. 
  • Samuel Cardamone ’09, MAT + Math Ed, is the Assistant Director of the Study Abroad Office at SUNY Geneseo. Sam received his M.S.Ed. in College Student Personnel from Canisius in ’12. 
  • Nikki (Gabrielli) Butters ’09, Math Ed, is a kindergarten teacher in Hamilton, Ontario. She has an M.S.Ed. in Childhood Special Education from Canisius. 
  • Rachel (Hawkins) Leone ’09, MAT + Math Ed, has an M.S.Ed. in Differentiated Instruction from Canisius University and is a math teacher at Tapestry Charter School in Buffalo.
  • Elyse Krezmien ’09, MAT + COM, is a Q.A. Engineer at NerVve Technologies. Previously she was an Operations Research Analyst at the U. S. Army TRADOC Analysis Center at White Sands Missile Range. She has an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from New Mexico State University. 
  • Jennifer Malue ’09, MAT + Math Ed, has an M.S.Ed. from St. Bonaventure University and teaches mathematics at Villa Maria Academy in Erie, PA. 
  • Gabrielle Paoletti ’09, MAT, has an M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh Medical School and is Clinical Fellow in Anaesthesia at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. 
  • John Willis ’09, MAT + PHY, minor in CSC, is a Ph.D. Candidate in Mathematics at the University of Colorado at Boulder and has an M.S. in Mathematics from the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT. 
  • Colleen Lanz ’08, MAT + PHY, has a Ph.D. in Physics from North Carolina State University and an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from Virginia Tech University. She is a Post Doctoral Teaching Scholar in the Department of Physics at North Carolina State University. 
  • Jennifer (Panfil) Talarico ’08, Math Ed, has an M.S.Ed. in Differentiated Instruction from Canisius University and is a mathematics teacher in the Buffalo Charter Schools. 
  • Brian Sullivan ’08, MAT + ECO, has an M.S. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is Assistant Vice President/Senior Treasury Analyst at M&T Bank in Buffalo. He previously worked as an Economics Consultant at Bates White in Washington, D.C. 
  • Andrew Zajdel ’08, MAT, has a Master’s degree in Mathematics from University of Buffalo, and is a mathematics teacher at Nichols Middle School.

  • Jenna (Ciepiela) Sheehan ’07, MAT + Math Ed, is a math teacher at St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute. 
  • Joseph Consiglio ’07, MAT, has a Ph.D. in Biostatistics form the University of Buffalo and is Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science at John Carroll University in University Heights, OH.
  • Jeffrey Rathbun ’07, MAT, has an M.A. in Biostatistics from the University of Buffalo and is Statistical Programmer III at Cognigen Corporation in Buffalo. 
  • Beth Sardina ’07, MAT + ECO, is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and works as an Actuary at BlueCross BlueShield of WNY in Buffalo.  She has an MBA from Canisius University and an M.S. in Professional Applied and Computational Mathematics from Buffalo State College. 
  • Milton Sheehan ’07, Math Ed, is a Ph.D. student in Curriculum Instruction and the Science of Learning at the University of Buffalo and a math teacher at Tapestry Charter School in Buffalo. He has a Masters degree in Mathematics Education from Buffalo State College. 
  • David Covert ’06, MAT, has a Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of Missouri at Columbia and is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science at University of Missouri at St. Louis. 
  • Drew Crossett ’06, MAT, has a Ph.D. in Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at West Chester University in West Chester, PA. 
  • Jonathan Dare ’06, MAT, has a M.S. in Biostatistics from University of Buffalo and is Data Manager and Statistician for the Population Health Observatory in the Department of Bio- statistics at the University of Buffalo. 
  • Eric Hezel ’06, MAT, is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and works as an Actuary at BlueCross BlueShield of WNY in Buffalo.
  • Phillip Monin ’06, MAT + ECO, has a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Research Mathematician at the Office of Financial Research of the U. S. Department of the Treasury in Washington, D.C. 
  • Kevin Silakowski ’06, MAT, has a Masters degree in Math Education from the University of Buffalo and is a middle school math teacher at Erie Day School in Erie, PA. 
  • Jenelle Kostran ’05, MAT + Math Ed, has a M.S. in Mathematics from University of Buffalo, and is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Hilbert College. 
  • Stephanie Zaleski ’04, MAT + PSY, has a Ph. D. in Psychology from the University of Toledo, and is now a Clinical Psychologist for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Toledo, OH.
2000 - 2003
  • James Bialasik ’03, MAT + Math Ed, is an M.S. student in Educational/Administration Supervision at Canisius University. He has an M.S. in Math Education from the University of Buffalo and is the Coordinator of Secondary Education for the Sweet Home Central School District.
  • Peter Cimino ’03, MAT + Math Ed, is a co-owner of Lloyd’s Taco Truck.
  • David Liebner ’03, MAT + BIO, has an M.D. from the University of Buffalo and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology, and the Department of Biomedical Informatics at the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, OH.
  • Jonathan Lopez ’03, MAT, has a Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of Rochester and is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Canisius University.  Jon has worked as an Actuarial Analyst for BlueCross BlueShield of WNY and has completed actuarial exams P, FM, MFE, MLC, and C.
  • Christopher Luthi ’03, MAT, has a M.S. from Fordham University and is a high school mathematics teacher at Island Pacific Academy in Hawaii.
  • Jeffrey Schlaerth ’03, MAT, is a Ph.D. candidate in Mathematics at Kent State University in Ohio.
  • Michael Irizarry ’02, MAT + Math Ed, is Director of Curriculum for Pioneer Central Schools and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Administration at the University of Buffalo. He has a Masters in Educational Computing from Buffalo State College and a M.S.Ed. in Educational Administration from Canisius University.
  • Lauren (Koppmann) Streit ’02, MAT + Math Ed, has a M.S. in Mathematics Education from University of Buffalo, and is a mathematics teacher at Clarence Middle School.
  • Jeffrey Liebner ’02, MAT + CHM, has a Ph.D. in Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University, and is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Lafayette College in Easton, PA.
  • Christopher McGinley ’02, Math Ed, has an M.S. in Educational/Administrative Supervision and an M.B.A. in International Business and Global Supply Chain Management from Canisius, as well as a C.A.S and Ed.D. from the University at Buffalo.  He is currently the K-12 Director of Mathematics for the Williamsville Central School District, and also works as an advisor to the Commissioner of Education.  He has received special recognition from the U.S. Congress for his contributions to education, and was recently named New York State’s Educational Leader of the Year.
  • Mark Culp ’01, MAT + CSC, has a Ph.D. in Statistics from University of Michigan and is an Associate Professor of Statistics at West Virginia University in Morgantown.
  • Anthony Ippolito ’01, MAT, has M.B.A. from Canisius University and a M.S. in Actuarial Science from Georgia State University and is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and a Ph.D. candidate in Statistics at the Ohio State University.
  • Lesley (Wagner) Georger ’01, MAT, has a Ph.D. in Statistics from University of Rochester, and is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at D’Youville College.
  • Jeffrey Miecznikowski ’00, MAT + PHY, has a Ph.D. in Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University and is an Associate Professor of Biostatistics and the Associate Dean of the School of Public Health and Health Professions at University of Buffalo. He is a consultant to the Department of Biostatistics and Cancer Genetics at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
