Canisius ranks in top half on 2022 The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Ranking

Buffalo, NY – Canisius University ranked in the top half on the 2022 The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education (THE) College Ranking.  Canisius placed #362 out of 796 U.S. colleges and universities.

Developed in partnership with U.S. experts and universities, the ranking adopts a balanced scorecard approach using 15 individual performance metrics grouped into four pillars – Resources, Engagement, Outcomes and Environment.

Canisius’ highest ranked pillar was engagement. 

Data sources include the U.S. government (Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System – IPEDS), the College Scorecard, the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), THE U.S. Student Survey, THE Academic Survey and Elsevier bibliometric dataset.
