BUFFALO, NY – The Canisius University Center for Professional Development, 300 Corporate Parkway, Amherst, will offer GMAT Test Prep Courses on Tuesdays and Fridays, September 4 – 28 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:15 p.m. A GMAT Quantitative (section only) Test Prep Course will be held on Friday, November 16 from 5:30 p.m. -8:30 p.m. and Saturday, November 17 from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
These preparatory courses offer a comprehensive review that focuses on strengthening test-taking skills and increasing students’ confidence. Students will learn:
- Question types specific to the exam
- Logical, rhetorical and mathematical problem-solving techniques
- Essential grammatical and mathematical concepts and techniques applicable to real-test problems
- Identification of specific problems posted by the exam and common test-taking errors
- How to improve performance and reduce test-taking anxiety through practice testing
