Redpath Recognized Among "Who's Who Top Educators"

Buffalo, NY-  Ian J. Redpath, an accounting professor at Canisius University, has been recognized by Marquis “Who’s Who Top Educators” for dedication, achievements and leadership in the field of financial education.  Redpath has been a professor of law and taxation at Canisius University since 1985 and is chair of the Accounting Department and the director of graduate accounting, providing invaluable insight to faculty and students.

Being an expert in his field and well regarded for his experience as an educator, he has been published in many articles and journals.  He can be found in the Journal of Business and Educational Leadership, the Journal of Business and Accounting, the BRC Academy Journal of Business and the Journal of S Corporation Taxation.  Redpath also serves as a host on “The Tax Experts” and guests the “Tax All Stars.”
 
Redpath started his education at Hillsdale College where he received a bachelor's degree in liberal studies.  He earned  doctor of jurisprudence at the University of Detroit and a master of laws degree from the University of Wisconsin.  Redpath is admitted to practice law in  the states of Michigan and New York, and before the U.S. Tax Court.  
Prior to his time teaching at Canisius University, Redpath worked as a professor at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.  Redpath also served as a prosecuting attorney in Michigan.  
 
His other accomplishments include Volunteer of the Year and Man of the Year by the Amherst Chamber of Commerce and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Western New York Soccer State Association.
