All graduating students (undergraduate and master's) will receive information in their myCanisius graduation portal. Your portal will provide information on how to check out for graduation, as well as indicate whether or not you will be attending your graduation ceremony and the number of tickets* you are requesting.
Each graduate is limited to 4 tickets. If available, graduates may also have the opportunity to request additional tickets at checkout. However, additional tickets are not guaranteed.
The graduating student must appear in person at the Student Records and Financial Services Center (located on the 3rd Floor of Science Hall) to pick up Commencement tickets. Tickets cannot be sent via mail, and there will be no replacements for tickets that are lost or forgotten.
*Please note: All guests require an entry ticket.
Commencement Ceremonies
The Commencement Exercises will be held on campus in the Koessler Athletic Center on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Undergraduate and graduate commencement ceremonies are combined by Division. If you are unsure of your Division you are a part of, please click here.
During the ceremony, there will be the recognition of honorary degree recipients, the address from the student speaker, the conferral of degrees and the presentation of diplomas to the graduates.
