Permanent Chair Of Polish Culture At Canisius University To Host Benefit Concert

BUFFALO, NY –   The Permanent Chair of Polish Culture at Canisius University will host a scholarship benefit concert on Sunday, May 15, 2022.  The event is free and open to the public and an opportunity to meet the artists will follow. ​​The event will start at 2:30 p.m. at St. Michael Church, 651 Washington Street, Buffalo NY 14203.  

The concert of classical and sacred music will feature sopranos Brittany Mruczek, Haley Brunstad, Melanie Bebak; brass players Nathan Oehler and William Wisnoski; and  Ivan Docenko, pianist.  Works by Chopin, Moniuszko, Lysenko, Mozart, Lloyd-Webber, Sibelius and more will be featured to benefit the Polish American Congress Fund for Ukraine and the Polish Singers Alliance Scholarship Fund.

A Meet-the-Artists reception will follow and be hosted by St. Michaels, Polish Arts Club of Buffalo and Polish American Congress of Western New York.  A free-will offering is accepted, sponsorships are available and checks may be made payable to the “Polish Singers Alliance.”
