Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness

The Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness is the primary resource at Canisius University for accurate, timely, and consistent data on the University and its constituents. We are responsible for providing University administrators with reports and analysis that can facilitate data-driven policy decisions. In this role, we seek to partner with other University leaders to use data as a strategic asset. We summarize and report institutional data on behalf of the University to federal, state, accrediting, and commercial agencies as well as other members of the national higher education community.

The Office reports directly to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and plays an integral role in evaluating the effectiveness of the University as a campus leader in the assessment process.  We are also available as a consulting resource for program and course evaluation and survey research.
