Greetings from Student Life

On behalf of the entire Student Life team—welcome home, Griffins! Whether you’re a returning student settling back into campus life or a new Griff joining us for the very first time, we are truly glad you’re here.

You are part of a community that takes pride in caring for one another and creating a place where every student can thrive. Living on campus keeps you connected to everything that makes Canisius special: engaging classes with faculty who know you by name, more than 90 student clubs and organizations, Division I athletics, Campus Ministry service opportunities, and late-night conversations that turn neighbors into lifelong friends.

Whether you’re moving into Bosch or Frisch, catching up with friends in Dugan, or reconnecting with your community in the Village or Delevan, you’ll find a campus full of staff and fellow Griffins ready to support you, cheer you on, and help you make this year one of your best.

Welcome back—and welcome home. Go Griffs!

Ends:

Students requesting to stay outside of a university-required commitment—including for personal reasons—may do so at a rate of $15 per night.

All requests are reviewed and approved by the Office of Student Life. Students will receive an email confirmation once their request has been processed, including information about any applicable charges and check-out procedures.
