^ Students interested in taking upper-level Biology classes must also complete Biology 111 and 112 (6 credits) at Canisius. This can be done within the 4 semesters as part of the 2+2 articulation. We recommend that students interested in pursuing graduate school or careers in conservation follow this recommendation. Alternatively, students can complete the ABEC degree without taking BIO 111/112 or upper-level Biology classes.

* A maximum of 60 credits can be transferred from a two-year college to Canisius and a minimum of 18 credits in the major must be completed at Canisius. Students need a minimum of 120 credit hours from their Major, Core Curriculum, and free elective courses to meet graduation requirements. Accepted students have a transfer evaluation completed prior to enrollment and work with an advisor to map out a pathway to graduation.
