Dr. Lindauer started his career as an elementary physical education teacher and high school coach in Iowa. While completing his masters degree, he decided to enter a Ph.D. program at the University of New Mexico with the intent on preparing future physical education teachers. Dr. Lindauer served as the physical education program director at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire for six years before coming to Canisius in 2008. During his Canisius tenure, Dr. Lindauer has served in various roles including as a tenured faculty member, department chair, dean, and assistant vice president for Academic Affairs.
