Mrs. Evans started her career as a social studies teacher in 1998. She taught in the City of Buffalo for one year and then in the Amherst Central School District for 9 years. During this time she obtained her Master’s Degree, as well as her advanced certifications in Educational Leadership. After obtaining her certifications, Mrs. Evans went on to serve as an assistant principal at Erie 1 BOCES, then as an assistant principal within the Williamsville Central School District for a combined total of nine years. Mrs. Evans then began to serve as a building principal with Batavia City Schools, prior to making a lateral move to serve as a building principal in the Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda Union Free School District. 

As a building level administrator with over 25 years of teaching and administrative experiences, Mrs. Evans has proven that she is committed to students, staff and families. In fact, she has fully embraced the role of the lead learner in her building. Additionally, she has been teaching the Principalship course at Canisius University since 2018. Through this work she is able to prepare, empower, and support individuals who are aspiring to become building or district level leaders, as well as any other people who are interested in learning more about the role of the principal.
