International Pre-College STEM Program

The Pre-College Applied STEM & Professional Program for domestic and international students is a two-week summer experience designed for high school students entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year who are interested in pursuing STEM higher education in the United States.

Program Format

Students will gain foundational knowledge by participating in lectures, hands-on activities, and field trips. Alongside STEM education, students participate in cultural immersion activities and learn about the U.S. higher education system.

The program provides two tracks: 

Medical Track:

• Build your own AI-powered chatbot and create simple interactive games

• Learn human anatomy and physiology through dynamic lectures and interactive models

• Conduct hands-on laboratory experiments

• Discover how medical professionals diagnose and treat diseases using tools like MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound

• Gain exposure through healthcare career guest panels

• Explore ethical decision-making in medicine through real-world case studies and discussions on patient care and responsibility

• Participate in field trips to top medical and research facilities

AI & Technology for Business Track:

A student focuses on multiple computer screens displaying data and charts

• Understand what AI is and how it shapes modern businesses

Learn coding fundamentals using beginner-friendly tools

• Explore AI ethics and how technology influences society, privacy, and the future of work

• Complete hands on coding and AI activities like building your own AI-powered chatbot and create simple interactive games

• Hear from business professionals in cybersecurity, software development, and data analytics 

• Visit major technology sites and meet industry experts

DefinitionResidential students live on campus for the full duration of the program, receiving three daily meals and participating in evening social and community-building activities.Commuter students attend daily, are provided lunch only, and do not participate in evening programming.

    Learn how to write a personal statement, tour local colleges, and learn to communicate professionally
  • Build Your Own AI Project
    Create a chatbot or simple game using beginner-friendly coding tools
