The program includes a wide range of courses in the history of art from antiquity to the present, giving you a great foundation on which to build your interpretive skills and knowledge. You will understand the relationship between function, form and content in the arts, and learn to decipher and interpret many different artistic styles within a cultural, historical and global context.
Available internships place you at renowned galleries such as the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Castellani Art Museum and Burchfield-Penny Art Center to give you experience in a museum setting. Travel abroad opportunities in England, France, Germany and other areas offer first-hand exposure to the best art in the world.
