Due to overnight and morning weather conditions, Canisius University is cancelling all in-person classes today, Thursday, January 15, 2026 and shifting to remote learning. Students should check D2L and their email for specific class updates or contact their faculty members with course-related questions.
Employees who are able to work remotely should do so. Employees who are unable to work remotely should refer to the snow closing policy (3.3.3 of the University Closing and Class Cancellation Policy), which provides personal days for weather-related events. Essential personnel should report to campus.
