Health & Human Performance
Cardiac rehabilitation specialist, stress test technologist, health and fitness consultant, or strength and conditioning specialist. Those are just a few career paths you can consider in the ever-expanding medical field with an MS in Health and Human Performance.
Choose a specialty track in clinical exercise science or strength and conditioning. Either way, you will be trained by experts in the field as you acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to further your career as a health professional. You will also be well prepared to go on for a terminal degree to become a medical doctor or physical therapist.
State of the art facilities and equipment enable you to practice stress testing and electrocardiography, use metabolic analyzers to assess aerobic fitness, or use the Bod Pod or underwater weigh tank to measure body composition. You will also gain hands on field experience through internships or a thesis project.
