Berlin: The City Experience

Open to students, staff, faculty, alumni, and friends of Canisius University. This seven-day trip is organized to offer varied learning opportunities. Curricular components may be available. Trip package includes support from a Tour Director, local tour guides, and Professor Widenor as well as the following: a three-day pass to Museum Island, a one-day admission ticket to the Berlin Zoo, walking tours of Berlin, and visits to the Reichstag, the remains of the Berlin Wall, the Holocaust Museum, and Topography of Terror Museum. Additional travel excursions available.

Credit information: possible 1 credit hour

Cost: $3,175 (payable by all participants). There is an additional fee for upgrade to double or single occupancy, or if traveler is over 30 years of age. Travelers are also expected to contribute for tips for the tour director, local guides, and bus drivers ($50-70). Cost includes airfare to and From Buffalo, hotel accommodations, entrance fees to museums and the Berlin Zoo, all ground transportation, and some meals.
