Alumni Association Names New President, Welcomes New Board Members

BUFFALO, NY – The Canisius University Alumni Association Board of Directors announced new leadership and welcomed three new members on July 1, 2025.  The board of directors assists the university and specifically the Office of Alumni & Constituent Engagement in achieving its mission to involve alumni in direct and meaningful ways to develop lasting relationships between alumni and alma mater. Members serve three-year terms.  

Jeff Bogart ’93 is the newly appointed president of the Alumni Association Board of Directors.  The Amherst resident is a credit analyst at NBT Bank and holds a BS in finance from Canisius.  Bogart is the former first vice president of the Alumni Association Board of Directors and succeeds William Lorenz Jr. ’09 as president.  

David Reid ’92 will become the second vice president of the Alumni Association Board of Directors, effective July 1.  Reid resides in Folsom, CA and is general counsel for Receivables Management Association International.  He earned a BA in history and political science from Canisius and succeeds Connor Rosenecker ’18 as second vice president. 

In addition to these executive committee appointments, the Alumni Association Board of Directors will welcome the following three new members: 

Lindsay Castro ’07, of Clarence, NY.  Castro is general counsel and vice president of human resources at HCM Unlocked.  She holds a BA in English and psychology;

Anita Castellar ’95, of Orlando, FL.  Castellar is the chief executive officer and founder of FanGirl Consulting and Brand Management. She earned a BS in management from Canisius; and

Paul DiNicolantonio ’23, of Amherst, NY.  DiNicolantonio is a wealth advisor at Hightower LakeWater and earned his BS in accounting and finance from Canisius.
