Canisius Aging and Autism Study: Jenn Lodi-Smith & Jonathan Rodgers
This project examines the relationship between aging and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) characteristics in older adults. Research on ASD in older adulthood lags significantly behind that of research in other age groups. This project is being supported by the National Institute on Aging at the National Institutes of Health Grant R21 AG059051-01
Canisius Memory and Cognition Lab (C-MAC): Charles Goodsell
Our research focuses on using knowledge of human memory and decision making, and applying it to real world problems like eyewitness identification. Students working in C-MAC get experience conducting research, reading scientific articles, managing data, and presenting results of studies at conferences.
The WNY Sibshop at Canisius University is a project that is dedicated to the common concerns and challenges faced by the siblings of individuals with developmental disorders.
