Campus Life at Canisius

The C-Block Bonfire in the Bart Mitchell Quad

Here’s just one of many Canisius traditions you'll remember long after you graduate: the annual C-Block bonfire before our big rivalry game!

Student Clubs and Organizations

Fusion Gaming, Project Conservation, Afro-American Society, Unity, the Griffin newspaper and more. With 90+ student-run organizations, it’s easy to get involved and make your mark on campus life. Listen to two Griffs talk about the clubs that they value.

Career Development Services

You can access a wealth of career development services through our Griff Center, including career coaching, resume and cover letter review, mock interviews, and an internship and job fair. As an alum, you can receive these same services for free—forever!

Downtime Destinations

Our urban campus is centrally located, so it’s easy to move around in a city with lots of greenspace and a beautiful waterfront. Hiking, kayaking and biking are just a few of the many ways Griffs like to unwind when they’re not on campus.

A Place That Feels Like Home

In so many ways, college becomes a home away from home for four years. Listen to two Griffs describe how Canisius has become home for them, thanks to faculty who really care about their individual growth and success.

Athletics at Canisius

Whether you play on a team or cheer from the sidelines, a Canisius game is a great way to connect with fellow Griffs.
