The Canisius Fund is the college’s annual fundraising program which secures critical current-use support from alumni, friends, parents, and faculty and staff to meet the most urgent needs of today’s students.
Gifts to the Canisius Fund play an integral role in the success of Canisius and our students.
In addition, alumni participation in the Canisius Fund serves as a stamp of approval. It is a measurable way to gauge graduates’ satisfaction with their student experience and alma mater overall. Alumni giving rates are a key factor in college and university rankings such as U.S. News and World Report. The more Canisius graduates who give – at any level – the better Canisius will rank against the competition! This enhances the college’s overall reputation, adding value to your degree and helping to attract high quality students to Canisius.
Donor who give $1,000 + to the college anually are recognized as members of the college’s Leadership Society. Donors who support Canisus with a gift of $5,000 + become members of the Magis Giving Circle.
