As we walk the grounds of our campus, we witness the unfolding of our new brand identity, gradually revealing itself in the refreshed blades adorning Science Hall along Main Street and light pole banners on our quad. Beyond our campus footprint, the essence of Canisius University will soon echo on billboards and resonate in commercials.
In the weeks ahead, our campus will hum with the vibrant spirit of community, as students return to their home-away-from-home. To our returning students, a warm embrace awaits you, and to our freshmen and transfer students, a heartfelt welcome as you embark on your transformative Canisius journey. A journey that will challenge you to move forward fearlessly in pursuit of a more just future.
In the spirit of new beginnings, we are excited to inaugurate a tradition that will honor our incoming class—our very first New Student Convocation. The entire Canisius community is invited to participate in New Student Convocation on August 24 at 4 pm in the Koessler Athletic Center, as we welcome our new students and their families to our community. This year, it bears special significance, because the Class of 2027 is the first to enroll at Canisius University!
As we journey through this year, we shall be graced with countless opportunities to gather, celebrate, and work together, united in our vision for the Canisius University of tomorrow. A vision that calls us to embrace boldness in service of the greater societal good.
