Tony has over 30 years of teaching and administrative leadership experience in Western New York. He began his career as a social studies teacher at the Niagara-Wheatfield Central School District in 1988. After completing the Educational Leadership program at Niagara University, he was hired in 1996 by the Sweet Home Central School District to serve as its high school assistant principal. In 1998, he returned to Niagara-Wheatfield as the principal of Edward Town Middle School. In December 2002, Tony re-entered Sweet Home as the Assistant Superintendent of Instruction.  In July 2010, he was appointed as the Superintendent of Sweet Home, where he spent the last eleven years of his career before retiring in August 2021.
