Merit Scholarships
Academic scholarships are based on your three-year cumulative high school average; freshman through junior year. Academic scholarships range from $8,500 to $17,000 per year and are renewable for four years. If you qualify for an academic scholarship, you will be notified with your admissions decision letter. The following values are for new, incoming freshmen in the 2022 - 2023 school year.
Scholarship Name | High School Average (%) ** | Scholarship Amount |
---|---|---|
Ignatian Scholarship | 98-100 | 17,000 |
Trustee's Scholarship | 96-97 | 16,000 |
Peter Canisius Scholarship | 93-95 | 15,000 |
Magis Scholarship | 90-92 | 13,000 |
Dean's Scholarship | 87-89 | 12,000 |
Benefactor's Scholarship | 85-86 | 8,500 |
**Cumulative freshman, sophomore and junior year grades.
Students with a high school average that does not fall on this grid are still encouraged to apply for admission. All applicants are reviewed holistically and many factors are considered in determining if a student is admissible. Students who are admissible and do not qualify for a merit scholarship will be reviewed for other institutional and federal aid.
