The Management Technology course satisfies the following learning goals and objectives associated with the Bachelor’s degree in Business:

Goal 2: BSBA graduates will have fundamental skills in accounting, finance, statistics, and management science.

Objectives:  Students will be able to:

           A.     Demonstrate critical thinking and argumentation skills with emphasis on problem identification from various viewpoints, causal diagnosis, and solution development.

Goal 5:   BSBA graduates will know and understand appropriate uses of Information Systems.

Objectives: Students will be able to:

  1.     Understand the use of information technology as a tool for communication, management, and business problem solving;
  2.    Use applications software to effectively locate, extract, generate and organize the needed information to assist in management decision-making.
  3.     Effectively research, locate, extract, structure and organize the information needed to assist in decision-making.
