Ecology and Environmental Biology Pathway

Please note that the list below refers to recommended courses in a pathway of Ecology and Environmental Biology for students interested in graduate study or employment in these fields. This list is followed by a chart of requirments for a degree in the Biology Major for students in this pathway. Courses required outside of the major for graduation (i.e. for the Canisius Core or All-College Honors Core Curricula) are not included.

Biology Majors on this pathway are strongly encouraged to plan accordingly to obtain an official Minor in Environmental Biology.

Alternatively, students with particularly strong interests in Ecology and the Enviornment may be interested in enrolling in the Environmental Science Program, managed in cooperation between departments including Biology, rather than enrolling as Biology Majors.
