Pre-Interdisciplinary Pathway

Please note that the course information listed on the charts below refer to requirements for a degree in the Biology Major. Courses required outside of the major for graduation (i.e. for the Canisius Core or All-College Honors Core Curricula) are not included.

Students interested in Interdisciplinary Studies would be able to choose courses from other departments according to their interests throughout their years at Canisius. These other courses could count towards an additional minor or even a second major. (For example: A Biology/English double major for the purposes of going into scientific writing/communication.)

Upper level (300/400-level) Biology courses taken to fulfill requirements for the major may be selected according to biological interests (Ecology, Cell Biology, Genetics, etc), considering the same subject emphasis as listed in Pre-Graduate Studies Pathways.
